FIFA World Cup 2018 is back with 32 countries participating in it. These countries have got a lucrative opportunity to mark their names in the history books and create new records. The record for the most Wins by a coach will be broken by Joachim Low. He has won 6 till now and if he wins this time as well, he will have 7 in his name. He has won 107 of his 161 matches as coach, after this season of World Cup he might break the records of Helmut Schon from West Germany who currently holds the record of most winning matches, i.e 16 and for coaching most matches, i.e 25.
3. Most Wins In Penalty Shootouts
Penalty shoutouts are make or break in this game. Argentina holds the current record of number of wins in Penalty, on the other hand England have lost the most, losing thrice. Germany also holds the joint record for most won. This year Russia will break the record in most wins in Penalty Shootouts.
4. M&Ms In The Hunt For Maradona
Rafael Marquez and Lionel Messi will both be chasing the records held by Maradona, at Russia 2018. At the age of 39-years-old, he became the first player who captained his national team for five consecutive times in FIFA world cup.
As a captain, Maradona has scored six goals as captain, while on the other hand Lionel Messi has scored four. In the coming matches, get ready to witness some magic on your field by them. Maradona has captained for Argentina 16 times. The record will be broke by Marquez, who has captained Argentina 14 times.
5. Muller is very close to new record
Muller can become the first player to score more than four times in three FIFA World Cup. Currently, Muller has scored a total of 10 goals, 5 each in the previous two editions of World Cup. There will be a tough competition for this record in between Ronaldo, Pelle and Muller.
